A fusion of Japanese sushi and udon noodle soup flavors, this sushi roll features the hearty essence of udon noodles combined with fresh vegetables, smoked salmon, and avocado, all wrapped in nori seaweed sheets.
Ingredients:
- 4 nori seaweed sheets
- 2 cups cooked udon noodles
- 1/2 cup julienned carrots
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumber
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup shredded nori seaweed
- 4 ounces smoked salmon, sliced
- 1 avocado, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce, for dipping
Instructions:
Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat
Spread a layer of cooked udon noodles evenly over the nori sheet
Arrange julienned carrots, cucumber slices, green onions, shredded nori seaweed, smoked salmon, and avocado slices over the noodles
Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat, sealing the edge with water
Slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife
Repeat with the remaining nori sheets and ingredients
